Physics you can throw.
Grab your layers, throw them around in a live physics toy, and bake the result to clean keyframes you can edit by hand.
Launch price $29 for the first two weeks. No subscription.
This is the real Fling. Grab something and throw it, then try a Moment. Works best with a mouse.
Drop your logo on the toy to fling it. In After Effects the same thing happens with your own layers, and one click bakes it.
Grab. Play. Bake.
No settings to learn before the fun starts. Fling works the way you'd fling things on a desk.
Grab
Pick layers in your comp and press Grab. Fling traces each layer's real outline, text included, so things collide the way they look.
Play
Hit Run and throw things with your mouse. Pick a Moment, add ropes, magnets or a bomb. Every run is kept as a take.
Bake
One click writes the take into After Effects as clean keyframes. One undo takes the whole bake back.
Thirteen Moments, one click each.
Each Moment sets up a whole scene for the layers you picked. Hit Shuffle for a fresh take on the same idea.
Materials with a personality
Rubber bounces, stone thuds, ice slides forever, paper flutters down and balloons float up. Jelly squashes on every hit and bakes its squash too.
Toys for the scene
Hang a logo on a rope, hinge two shapes, blow a title apart with a bomb, or let a spout shoot copies that each become their own layer.
Keys you'd be proud of.
Fling is a toy until you bake. Then it's exact.
One price. Yours to keep.

Questions
Which versions of After Effects does Fling work with?
After Effects 2025 and 2026 on Mac. Windows is on the way, and everyone on the waitlist hears first.
What do I actually get when I bake?
Ordinary After Effects keyframes on your own layers: position, rotation, and scale for jelly. Spout copies become their own layers, and ropes can become shape layers that move with them. Nothing stays tied to Fling, so the comp keeps working if you uninstall it.
Can I edit the keys afterwards?
Yes. Smart keys keep only the keys that matter, so curves are easy to adjust by hand. If you want everything, bake one key per frame instead.
Does it work with text and odd shapes?
Yes. Fling renders each layer's real artwork and traces its outline, so a star collides like a star and a word collides like a word. You can also switch any layer to a simple circle or box.
Is it a subscription?
No. You pay once and keep it, with every version 1 update included.
Do I need to be online?
Only to activate. After that Fling checks in now and then, and keeps working for a week even if it can't reach the internet.
Who makes Fling?
I'm Omri, a motion designer. I built Fling because I wanted physics I could play with instead of keyframing every bounce by hand. Write to [email protected] and I'll answer myself.
Go on. Throw something.
