Fling is made by Flingworks. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell it.

The website

If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address in Kit, our email tool, to send you news about Fling. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not track you across sites.

Buying Fling

Lemon Squeezy sells Fling for us as the merchant of record. They handle your payment, tax and receipt, and they keep the details they need for that. We see your name, email and order, so we can help with your license.

The Fling panel

• When you activate or deactivate a license, Fling sends your license key and a plain label such as "Fling on Mac · AE 26.2" to Lemon Squeezy, and checks the license now and then. It never sends your computer's name or files.
• Once a day at most, Fling reads a small file on fling.tools to see if there is a newer version. Nothing about you or your projects is sent.
• Your layers, comps and takes never leave your computer.
